Eligibility Criteria – Professional Excellence Awards 2026

  • Only teachers currently working in CBSE or ISC affiliated schools are eligible to apply.
  • Teachers from schools in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram, Rohtak, Sonipat, Panipat, Meerut, Bulandshahr, and Karnal are eligible under the Delhi NCR Category.
  • Teachers from schools located in all other cities shall be considered under the Rest of India Category.
  • Teachers must have achieved a 100% pass result (before compartment) in the CBSE/ISC Board Examination 2025–26 in the subject for which they are applying.
  • A minimum of 10 students must have appeared in the respective subject examination (Accountancy, Business Studies/Commerce, or Economics).
  • A separate award category exists for each subject—Accountancy, Business Studies/Commerce, and Economics.

  • A separate quota of total 10 Awards (Accountancy, Commerce and Economics) has been introduced for teachers from ISC schools irrespective of the cities.
  • Both CTF Members and Non-Members are eligible; however, preference shall be given to CTF Members in case of a tie.
  • Further preference shall be given to teachers whose schools have participated in CTF’s International Commerce Olympiad(s).
  • The "One School – One Award" policy shall apply. In cases where a teacher teaches more than one subject, only one award shall be granted based on the higher Quality Index (QI).
  • The prestigious "Vanijya Ratna Award" shall be conferred upon one outstanding teacher each in Accountancy, Business Studies/Commerce, and Economics based on the highest Quality Index (QI), irrespective of the board (CBSE/ISC).

Quality Index (QI) Calculation

QI = Total Marks Obtained by All Students ÷ Total Number of Students Appeared

The teacher must have taught the subject during the academic session 2025–26 for which the nomination is being submitted.

  • Only nominations submitted through the prescribed online Nomination Form on or before the last date will be considered.
  • Nominations submitted through Email, WhatsApp, telephone, or any other mode will not be entertained. Applications must be submitted only through the online Nomination Form available on CTF’s website.
  • Incomplete nominations or nominations not duly signed and stamped by the Principal will be rejected.
  • Any incorrect, misleading, or unverifiable information may lead to disqualification of the nomination.
  • CTF reserves the right to verify the results declared in the Nomination Form through the official CBSE/ISC School Result records and may seek additional supporting documents before finalizing the awardees.
  • CTF reserves the right to modify the eligibility criteria, number of awards, award categories, or selection process before the declaration of results.
Important Guidelines:
  • CTF shall not bear the travel expenses of the awardees. However, accommodation on a sharing basis may be provided, subject to availability and prior request, to awardees travelling from distant states.
  • If an awardee is unable to attend the felicitation ceremony, a duly authorized representative may collect the award on their behalf. The details of the representative must be communicated in advance to ctaforum@gmail.com. Awards shall not be sent by courier.
